MapleStory Plot / Races

These are the 3 Races in MapleStory, along with the storyline of Maple Story.

MapleStory Episode 1
People have raomed around the Maple World for centuries, having fun, slaying monsters and chatting. A happy world full of adventures and journeys awaits every Mapler in the Maple World. One day, the Versal world came into the Maple World thus creating Masteria and Crimson Wood Keep. Versal world is full of evil, dark creatures, that are reversed. An evil master wanted to rule the Maple World, so he sent four twisted masters to defeat all Maplers. Their names were Margana, Red Nirg, Hsalf and Rellik. These masters failed to destroy the Maple World. If you think about it, Margana is Anagram and Red Nirg is Grinder and Hsalf is Flash and Rellik is Killer. Failing to defeat the Maplers, the Maple World remained safe.

MapleStory Episode 2
Since the evil masters of the Versal world failed to rule the Maple World, a overpowered mystery man called "The Black Magician" or "The Dark Wizard" tried to invade the Maple World. He was stronger than the Versal world masters. Queen Cygnus of the Maple World recruited Knights of Cygnus to defeat the Black Magician. Non-Knights are called Adventurers. Adventurers were in charge of defeating the Versal, while the Knights needed to defeat the Black Magician. 100 years ago, the Aran were brave adventurers who used Pole Arms. During the battle of the Black Magician, the Aran were stuck in ice for 100 years, and lost all of their powers. So, after breaking out of the ice, they helped the Knights defeat the Black Magician.


Tutorial
Adventurers
The adventurers are the Maplers who have fun daily and chat about, slaying monsters. The bravest Adventurers may fight the Versal. In the Adventurers tutorial, people tell you how to use items and defeat monsters, and guide you on your way to becoming a great adventurer and have a good time.

Knights of Cygnus
Queen Cygnus tells you how to hunt monsters so you can help defeat the Dark Magician and save the Maple World, so she places small birds in a tutorial so you may hunt them to grow strong and defeat the Magician.

Aran
You are level 200, and you are told the directions to move and jump. So, as a level 200, you are waiting for the arrival of the Black Magician. Young Helena (Anthena Pierce) makes a boat to escape from the Dark Magician. But, since you are level 200 and very strong, you refuse to go. So, Helena finds out that a small child is missing, you you go through 3 maps and you take the child on your back and bring the child to the boat. During the way to the child, you come across level 100 monsters that look like this:
At level 200, these do 1 damage to you and you can kill them with ease. So, after the child is on the boat, you stay for the battle of the Dark Magician. Sadly, you are frozen in ice. But, you are turned to level 1 due to losing power when you were in ice. Lilin will help you learn things all over again, like hunting and using potions so you can help the Knights of Cygnus to defeat the Dark Magician.

Tinybj, they've been stuck in ice for like 100 years so you could get to level 200 in 2 years. So yeah their power degraded as they were stuck in ice
